Last year around this time, my wife and I were entering a very stressful holiday season. We were expecting our second child, selling our house, and frantically looking for a new place to accommodate our growing family before the chaos of the holiday season set in. My wife and I knew from the purchase of our previous house, we were going to look at a lot of houses, and did not feel comfortable dragging a relator along while we looked at house after house only to not have any interest in the home. We began looking at houses on our own and each time were met by a pushy realtor that wanted to show us more listings or help us list our current home. Then we looked at a home being sold by John Milkovich.
We looked at his listing but knew the house wasn’t for us. We talked to John about what we were looking for. He listened instead of telling us how his listing could work for us, or the potential it had. Although we were not sold on the house, we knew we had found a relator we wanted to work with. John offered us his card and said if he could be of any help, we could call him at anytime. When we got home we called John to schedule a time he could come assess our house, help us sell it, and find a new home to celebrate the holidays in.
John provided advice on what needed to be fixed in our house to get it ready for sale, he hosted open houses, and gave up a lot of his holiday season to help us get it sold. In the meantime, he showed us many, many houses and always gave us his honest
input and helped us see the big picture without putting any pressure on us to find something quickly. John was always fast to respond whenever we showed interest on a listing from the MLS.
We are now settled in our home and our old house sold without incident. At a time were stress and chaos could have prevailed, John guided us with care. My wife and I have not only found our forever home, but also our forever relator.
